Rhodes Foods International’s strong customer focus and understanding of the needs of its diverse customer base has seen ongoing increases in market share in most of its markets. Our main export markets are: Europe (28% of sales), The Far East (27%), USA and Canada (12%), Australasia (20%), Russia and the Middle East (13%).
The Group’s regional contribution, comprising Long Life Foods (canned fruits, vegetables and jams, bottle salads, canned meat, fruit juices and juice products, and baby food) and Fresh Foods (ready meals, pies, pastries, bakery, snacking and dairy products), currently accounts for 81% of Rhodes Food Group’s total turnover.
Targeting South Africa and Sub-Saharan Africa, the Long Life Foods segment offers consumers a strong product portfolio of both branded and private label, while the Fresh Foods Division enjoys long-term partnerships with leading local retailers and forecourt convenience outlets. Business generated in South Africa accounts for the majority of the revenue, and 12 other countries in Sub-Sahara Africa.
