United Benefit Advisors (UBA) Concludes National Member Meeting, Welcomes 19 New Member Firms

INDIANAPOLIS and CHICAGO, June 9 /PRNewswire/ -- United Benefit Advisors (UBA), (http://www.unitedbenefitadvisors.com ), (http://www.benefits.com), an alliance of the nation's premier independent benefit advisory firms, introduced 19 new member firms, an array of new resources, and expanded strategic alliances at its recently concluded member meeting in Chicago. The meeting included presentations and break-out sessions led by experts on a variety of topics designed to help UBA member firms enhance their employer service capabilities.

UBA also unveiled BenefitsPassport(SM), an online "gateway to employee benefits," which will serve as an entry point for the group's employer/employee-based technology tools such as the Employee Benefit Center(SM), an employee communication tool, HRinsider(SM), a customized HR news & information portal, and benefitsCONNECT(SM), an online enrollment system. UBA also announced a new version of its Wisdom Network(SM), a private Intranet site for its member firms.

Joining approximately 275 participants at its Chicago meeting were representatives from: benefitsCONNECT(SM), Benefits Technology Group, ERC Healthcare, Express Scripts, GE Financial Employer Services Group, Lumenos, Moss Adams Advisory Services, SAFECO Risk Management Services, Sun Life Financial Services, Systemed, and The Guardian Life Insurance Company of America.
