Resource Financial Group named as one of the “Best Places to Work in Central Texas” by the Austin Business Journal
AUSTIN, TX, May 1, 2009 – Resource Financial Group, Inc. (RFG) was acknowledged as one of the “Best Places to Work in Central Texas”, for having the best corporate culture, team environment, employee benefits and most importantly, engaged employees. More than 140 Austin-area companies competed for the title, which is determined by internal survey results on topics such as job satisfaction, confidence in management, and work-life balance.
“I believe that over 90% of my corporate assets walk out the door each night; and it’s up to me to make sure they come back the next day”, says Dennis Passovoy, RFG’s president. He goes on to say that “… you can create a challenging work environment and have it also be compatible with a fun and family-oriented work environment. These two things don’t have to be at odds with each other.”
RFG has long held this notion that employees are not a “necessary evil”, but rather, a strategic asset that if correctly managed can lead to better recruitment, retention, productivity and, therefore, a more rapid attainment of the corporate goals.
The awards ceremony will be held in Austin on May 21, 2009. Additionally, Resource Financial Group will be profiled in a special supplement to the Journal which will hit newsstands on May 22.
