Mr. Passovoy serves as president of Resource Financial Group. He possesses over 9 years experience in the Financial Services business sector and over 25 as an accomplished business executive.
In addition, Mr. Passovoy is on the faculty of the Department of Management, Red McCombs School of Business, University of Texas at Austin.
Mr. Passovoy is also a co-founding Managing Director of CEO Partnerships, LLC, providing executive-level advisory services to emerging and growth companies. And as such, he served as advisor to boards and CEOs of several companies, large and small.
During the later half of the 1990s, Mr. Passovoy was co-founder and President/CEO of Amicus, Inc., a leading Internet ASP providing technology and services to the financial services business sector.
Prior to co-founding Amicus, Mr. Passovoy was Vice President in charge of Advanced Systems for Austin-based Dell Computer Corporation and was responsible for Dell's server sales, marketing and support organizations: $110M in server revenue during 1994, his last year at that company.
During the early 1980's, Mr. Passovoy founded a highly successful LAN/WAN integrator business. It became one of Novell's largest resellers and then subsequently was merged into Evernet Systems, a company he also co-founded. In 1992, Control Data purchased Evernet.
His background includes experience in several different industries as well as the founding and building of four companies.
Mr. Passovoy is a frequent and accomplished industry spokesperson and is also active within the non-profit sector in Austin. He currently serves on the board of several organizations, both commercial and community, and possesses both a Bachelor and Masters Degree from UCLA.
