Mr. John is the founder and CEO of Resource Financial Group, as well as the co-founder and president of United Benefit Advisors (UBA), an alliance of the nation's premier independent employee benefit advisory firms.
Mr. John is editor of the Employee Benefits Newsletter of the Society of Financial Service Professionals, as well as a past member of the Society's National Board of Directors and past president of the Austin Chapter. He has served on the Society's Information Technology Task Force and on the Employee Benefits Section Task Force.
Mr. John currently serves on a national advisory board for FSC Securities Corporation, a highly respected broker-dealer. And, he is a founding member of the Austin Software Council.
A graduate of Austin College, Mr. John received his CLU designation in 1982, ChFC in 1985, and CFP in 1995.
